OUR JOURNEY
We built Wayya because we craved authentic experiences but hated the research black hole. Every time we set out to plan something, we found ourselves buried in tabs, half-baked itineraries, and outdated blogs. We recognized there was a gap between the experiences we wanted and the hoops we had to go through to find them.
As busy young professionals, we knew firsthand how powerful experiential travel could be—whether it was hiking the Camino, yoga training in India, or road-tripping from the PNW to Baja. These weren't just vacations—they were moments of growth, perspective, and deep connection. But with limited PTO and a sea of operators and mega travel companies, finding transformative trips felt harder than it should be.
