Founded in 1968 and rooted in the philosophy “Know more, carry less,” BOSS teaches traditional living skills that empower people to thrive with minimal gear. Now a nonprofit, BOSS has spent over 50 years helping individuals reconnect with themselves and the natural world through challenging field courses and intensive skills training.
